Heyyaa semua!

Gimana sama artikel sebelumnya? Menghibur gak? Sudah terjawab dong pertanyaan kalian ? Insha Allah udah yak. Hehee, banyak yang nanya kenapa tulisan sebelumnya ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris? Sebenarnya, um, untuk melatih skill gue aja si. Tidak bermaksud untuk 'sok'english. Karena gue punya beberapa teman 'stranger' di dunia maya, itu kayaknya mengharuskan gue menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk memudahkan mereka membaca juga. Kan bingung nanti kalo translate bahasa gaul nya Indonesia ke Inggris, hahaaha.

Nah, guys.. gue mau cerita sedikit nih mengenai budaya dan adat yang ada di negeri kita tercinta, yaitu Indonesia. You all must know that Indonesia has many different cultures, ras, languages (wow more than 300), foods, volcanoes, lakes, and many more! Kita harus sadar betapa kaya nya Indonesia. Pernah sih gue melihat berita bahwa Indonesia itu adalah paru-paru Dunia. Nah, maka dari itu Indonesia is like our home for people life. Oiya, Indonesia itu bukan hanya Bali aja lho. Ada banyak pulau dan kota-kota yang memang harus dikunjungi oleh kita maupun orang asing. Kalau Bali terkenal dengan ke eksotisan alamnya, Lombok juga terkenal dengan pantai Senggigi di Lombok Barat. Nusa Tenggara Barat juga punya budaya yang tidak jauh menarik nya. Namanya Presean. Nanti akan gue bahas di artikel selanjutnya.

Memang, disetiap daerah punya budaya dan adat tersendiri untuk menarik para pengunjung. Salah satunya desa Batubarani, kecamatan Kabilabome, kabupaten Bonebolango, Provinsi Gorontalo. Daerah ini tidak seperti daerah laim guys. Menariknya, semua warga Batubarani dibuat takut karena kedatangam tamu yang tak diundang dari alam bawah air! Coba tebak apa? Bukan siluman kecebong ya. Lebih tepatnya mereka kedatangam Hiu-Paus yang berjumlah 12 ekor dengam ukuran yang berbeda-beda. Mulai dari yang sangat kecil hingga yang paling besar berukuran 12 meter.!  You must be wondering how these creatures showed up in the sea?

So, here the story goes.......

Di desa itu ada sebuah pabrik udang yamg udah sejak lama. I don't really know when it's built. So, my aunty who is working in the factory told me, Hi-Paus ini datang karena mencium bau aroma dari pembuangan kulit udang yang dibuang ke laut itu. Gerombolan mamalia bertubuh besar ini singgah dan memakan kulit udang yang telah dikupas oleh karyawan yang bekerja di pabrik tesebut. Melihat ada sekitar 7 ekor Hiu-Paus berkumpul ketika sedang memakan kulit udang, warga tersebut dibuat kaget lho oleh kedatangan hewan lucu ini. Tidak ingin hal-hal negatif terjadi, orang dewasa maupun anak-anak yang tinggal di rumah setempat dilarang oleh orang tua mereka untuk tidak terjun langsung ke laut. Mereka takut nanti takut dimakan:(. Lol. Berharap, hewan berbobot besar ini meninggalkan desa Batubarani, tetapi harapan mereka tak terkabul. Ternyata masih ada si hewan tersebut. Hari demi hari dilalui. Sudah berganti bulan. Yep, 7 ekor hewan ini masih betah aja tinggal di sini. Akhirnya, warga di sini bisa menjalankan aktifitas nya seperti semula lagi ketika mereka tau kalau hewan ini unharmful alias gak berbahaye cuy! Gue sempet takjub sih udah 3 tahun Hiu-Paus ini ngontrak di sini, hahaha. Mereka gak pernah pergi dari tempat pabrik udang itu. Padahal, Whale-Shark ini hidup bebas lho. I mean they don't be kept by jail or web. Dan itu yang membuat gue amazed.

 Gaizz, lo tau gak kenapa gue bilang hewan ini lucu? Yes, they are absolutely cute as dolphin. Mereka itu hewan 'ramah' bertubuh besar yang pernah gue temui! Whale-Shark doesn't eat you like you watched in Jaws movie.:). Mereka itu baik banget. Iya mereka baik karena mereka gak pernah keganggu sama kedatangan kami. Oiya, tau gak Hiu-Paus ini punya nama lho. Tapi, yang gue tau nama yang paling besar aja nih badannya. Namanya "Otong". Hehehe, bukan deng. Nama aslinya "Sherly". So, people visit to feed them up, they usually call its name. Kalian juga kalo mau lihat Sherly secara dekat bisa banget. Tinggal nyewa perahu kalau gak salah Rp20.000 sama penjaga nya gitu selama 20 menit. Kalian udah bisa deh menyentuh dan melihat secara dekat hewan mamalia Ini secara eksklusif. Dan jangam lupa beli umpannya juga yaitu kepala udang. Bukan kepala kambing yee. Mentang hewannya gede belinya itu lagi, heheh.

Dan cara pancing mereka itu juga bisa dengan mengetuk-ngetuk bagian bawah perahu sambil mengucapkan kata "sherly. Sherly.. Sherly..ayo dong keluar. Ku bawa roti selai keju untuk mu". Lha, sejak kapan hiu suka begituan? Gue heran si apa iya mereka (para Hiu-Paus) mengerti Bahasa kita dengan bicara seperti itu? YetapI tetap gue ikutin si dan sepertinya mereka udah les bahasa Indonesia kali ya selama 3 tahun. 15 menit berlalu. Kok mereka gak muncul ya? Gue udah pake gelagat gue sendiri tuh untuk melihat mereka. Satupun gak muncul. Kamera udah siap untuk foto-foto at that time. Yah, kok gak muncul kemana ini? Oh, I have just been told by my uncle thatwwhale-shark didn't appear in front of us because there was a typhoon or Batubarani villagers usually call 'Angin Ribut'. This natural disasater menyebabkan gelombang air laut naik dan air itu bisa sampai ke rumah warga. Itu mengapa ombak di air laut cukup besar yang disertai dengan angin. Kata orang sekitar juga, setelah kejadian ini, Hiu-paus lebih memilih untuk berdiam di bawah air daripada naik kepermukaan karena mereka gak suka sama ombak atau gelombang yang cukup besar itu. *bukan karena kedatangan gua kok:p*. Yeay, after we've been waiting for minutes, it appered on us! Oh, Allah! It has a wide mouth! Besar banget coy mulutnya. Kayaknya gue muat deh masuk ke mulut nya. Oiya guys, yang muncul ke dasar ini adalah Hiu-Paus berukuran 3 meter. Dan ini adalah yang paling kecil lho. Nih, gambar mulutnya, maaf kalo gak begitu jelas.   

Pertama gue lihat jantung gua dag-dig-dug gitu kayak ketemu doi, hahaha. Gak deng. Tapi iyaaaa deg-degan takut dimakan sama Hiu-Paus, lol. Ya bayangin aja gue ada di perahu kayu yang kecil terus muat orang lebih dari 7 orang cuy. Tapi syukur sih, Hiu-Paus gak suka makan gue ;p. Dia itu sukaaaa banget sama kepala udang guys. Jadi, kalau datang ke Batubarani dan melihat hewan lucu ini don't forget to buy kepala udang yaa;). Kalian juga bisa sentuh mereka lho. Mereka itu punya gigi yang kecil-kecil dan banyak dengan memiliki kepala yanh lebar dan gepeng dengan mulut. Mata nya itu kecillll bamget lho, hahaha. Masih besaran mata gue sih kalo diliat mah :p. That's why I tell you this animal is cute af. Bahkan ada beberapa penyelam di sana juga yang ingin lebih mendekatkan dirinya kepada hewan ini maupun lokal ataupun mancanegara.

 

 

In the next day before I left this village, I came again for twice to see them. oh goshhhh!!! I saw the biggest one finally! Yep buddy, Sherly showed up her self to us! Masha Allah, ikan ini besar dan panjang banget. Sherly akhirnya datang ke arah perahu kami dan memakan udang yang kami kasih. Dia makan lahap banget. Gue sentuh badannya dia dari depan terus kebelakang. Kalau kita sentuh dari belakang ke depan pasti terasa kasar kulit mereka.

Akhirnya, I have to say goodbye to Gorontalo in 14th July. Wah, beruntung sih gue masih dikasih kesempatan oleh Allah dengan pengalaman seperti ini. Gorontalo itu menurut gue provinsi yang masih cukup kental banget sama budaya nya. Mulai dari tradisi, gaya rumah mereka, lingkungan dan absolutely the people. Therefore, not only Denpasar can be visited to have fun but also Gorontalo. The more you love your country, the more people also do as you!

Aku Pilih Pramugari!

Heyyo, guys!

Don't be sad if you didn't go to celebrate new year eve yesterday! I have never gone to celebrate new year for almost 17! :p. Hell yeah, I am still alive seriously. If you ask me I feel bored or not, personally It's so-so, hehe. Because I do like spending my time of being alone such as reading an article or whatever it is realted with the writing.

You'd better read my article. Who knows you'll find some benefits here :p.

Most of my friends have asked me why I choose a career as a flight attendant. I couldn't tell to them specifically. I don't wanna answer offhand that my own self have no idea. There are many people remain me that being FA (Flight Attendant) takes high risk. For example technical problem of plane causes It could fall anytime and anywhere. They say to me: "you don't need to be a FA. You'll die easily. Meh,, everytime I hear that sentence, i feel like I wanna laugh as hard. FA is always rumored with a pilot. It's not only a FA, but also women must be resentful hearing that hearsay if they are been like that. I've heard my mom's family said: " why FA? You know, FA is just like a waitress for the passengers. But the difference is she works on the air. Guys, let me tell you, as far as I knew about this job, FA is not a maid. She serves and protect the passangers from the departure to their destination. She also interacts directly with pilot if plane is ready to takeoff. Never-before, there are passangers get hungry. Who serves cuisines? A pilot? There is no Street vendor in the air, dude.

Being a FA is supposed to have a high responsibility. They couldn't be seen afraid, panic or uptight if a plane had a technically problem. They gotta be a fort to make passengers quite. Although, FA is just an ordinary woman who is afraid like them. So, do you wanna still keep saying that FA is a slave? Literally, all jobs are helping to each other. Just keep in your mind that we (human) can't live without everyone's favour. For example, a Driver takes you to your destination safetly. A Police protects his citizens from the crime. A Barber cuts your hair to look better. A Teacher teaches you to be clever. A Musician entertains you when you're sad (mostly of my friends listen a music to cheer them up). Don't judge what they're working on. But see what a contribution which they give of people.

Oiyaa.! Anyway, why do I choose FA as my job?

Guys, this is my answer to you all who asked me why I wanna be a FA. My answer is I am keen on being FA :P. Lemme tell you a story once... I was asked by my bapak (father)  about what I would be in the future then I answered, " I wanna be a Reporter or a News Anchor. I like politics". My mama suddenly said, " oh, Allah. This is gonna be dangerous. My bapak said to me, "why don't you run for stewardess"? I remembered one of Indonesia airlines whichever it's Batavia Air or Adam Air have fallen. Because of this accident, I confined my intention to be one of cabin crew. I was scared if I couldn't meet my family anymore. (Guys, that's a young girl's thought ^_^).

Tik.. Tak.. Tik.. Tak..  Times go~.

When I was in junior high, I was asked again by him. He asked me in the same question. I answered strictly and doubtlessly, " I don't wanna be a FA". Idk what satan has entered my self to say that. I definitely regret saying these words. And my mama said, "you better become a policewoman. That would be good on you". Oh, no!!! I can't be mad like Chuck Norris. As I am growing up.. I am in Senior high school. My Putih Abu-abu time. I am too active on internet in this era. I signed up Ask.Fm where you can ask anything you wanted to know to everyone. We can also ask anonymously. (Ask.Fm still be my favorite site)! I don't really remember someone who showed up in my timeline Ask.Fm. If I am not mistaken, she was Mbak Sylvi. Her full name is Sylvia Dwi Hartanti.

  She often appeared on my timelime because her answers.Then I clicked her profile, oh, she seemed a FA! I scrolled down her post,I found her wear a uniform of that airline. Iin the next day, she posted some photos that she landed in area of Indonesia. Honestly, I am feeling jealous on FA. They can travel free but also get paid by company. I started to follow her on Ask.fm. After I am following, there are many Flight Attendants use this site. Yup, they posted some photos where they are. Seeing all that photos make me change my mind! I wanna be a FA soon. I wrote my goals to become one of cabin crew in a plane. I took a course for months to improve my skill in English. I stopped and practice on internet and books also. 

There are some many reasons why I love this job

1. REPRESENTING MY CHARACTERISTIC

Heh, first I'm very pleased there are still many people that I am friendly :P. It's true and of course I recognize it.
I saw a FA of GI (Garuda Indonesia) not only GI all FA's of airlines seemed like she has an inner beauty, manner, great and also friendly. I have been dreamed oneday I could be a model. I've liked being model since I joint a competition in kindergarten. I like models because of its clothes, lol. But, my sister told me, " if you want to be a professional model and known-well by others, you have to shave all feathers in your hands and feet". Ugh, really? I won't sacrifice mine just for that. Well, my bapak doesn't give me a permission to be a model. Because I like clothes of FA be like, I think I have 2 jobs. Being a model (model traveller) and also Flight Attendant.:p. Simple as it.

2. PRACTICING A PATIENCE
I read a book titled "Diary Pramugari" based on true story. So, there is a young girl named Jingga who worked as FA. oneday, a plane has been turbulent when she was bringing a beverage to serve a Mrs, she didn't mean to outpur it to her clothes. This Mrs. X got really angry. Jingga couldn't say anything except keep saying "sorry-sorry and sorry".
Well, If I was her, I probably would cry and get mad back at her. Meh, she's just an ordinary girl who can make mistakes anytime. A FA should keep image and smile while this accident happens. It makes me think maybe someday if this happens to me, I have to face patiently.

3. MEET NEW PEOPLE AROUND THE GLOBE
I am the typical of girl who likes to interact to new people. It doesn't mean I am (SKSD). This job also meets directly with different kind of characteristics. And also, knowing their culture is something fun!

4. PARENTS
To be honest, It sounds exaggerated. But, I realize I don't yet make my parents proud of me. I don't yet give my achievements enough to them. Which children who doesn't want to see both of parents glad?

5. BIG SALARY
Don't hypocrite if you are damn jealous of FA's income. How much they get? I can't mention in here, but I was told by my momma's friend daughter, it is more than enough. Yes, how much does it? It's enough to held wedding reception in Kemang building, lol.

6. TRAVELING FREELY
This is my favorite part, HAHA. Not only FA, but also Pilot can travel too! It's like yoi are traveling from continent to continent, country to country that you have never been before and it is free. Somebody's'dream, isn't it? :)




Well, that's my story. The point of this story is on number 1. :). I look for job which I am keen on. I like being FA and also a Reporter. Why? Like I said before, I like to meet new people around the world and alwayas KEPO in something that I haven't known before. KEPO doesn't always mean wanting to know people's problem. It  does mean in positive thing. 
If you love what you do, I am sure you won't get bored and enjoy with it. Don't think you would be paid with big salary. It won't feel you comfortable. Knowing your passion first.
